To improve efficiency, clothing-industry giant American Apparel wanted to create a suspended bridge between the manufacturing floor in its east building and the warehousing floor in its west building. Howard CDM managed all aspects of this complex project, including the off-site construction of the bridge and the installation of the bridge using a 190-ton hydraulic crane with 200 feet of boom.
