Chef Eric Bost’s first stand-alone concept, formerly the executive chef of Republique, opened in early 2019. The restaurant made Eater LA’s Prettiest LA Restaurants in 2019. This stunning 105-seat space on Melrose opened earlier this year with a design that pays tribute to both “craftsmanship and natural materials.” The fine dining concept offers an open kitchen, complete with an open grill, dual French top cooking lines, a wide pass for sending dishes out into the dining area, and semi-enclosed patio space. Diners enjoy four, six, or nine-course dinners, brunch, or specialty cocktails beside the open kitchen concept and generous planters filled with natural sunlight—thanks to five large incisions in the patio’s wooden ceiling structure and wall of solid oak windows.
