ONTARIO CONVENTION CENTER – NEW CAFÉ AND OUTDOOR PATIO

LOCATION: ONTARIO, CA
OWNER: ONTARIO CONVENTION CENTER
ARCHITECT: HMC ARCHITECTS

The project consisted of the construction of a new, 1,200 SF café located inside the Ontario Convention Center. The café included a backlit digital merchandise displayer, back-of-house service and preparation area, lounge areas with tables and seating, ornamental beverage cooler enclosures, food service equipment and counters.

A 4,000 SF patio was added with an ornamental fence at the perimeter with access to the café. The new patio features landscaping with self-watering planters and outdoor furnishings including lounge chairs, love seats, a water fountain and fire pit tables. Howard CDM completed this project in three months while interfacing with the Ontario Convention Center to assure construction did not disrupt daily events.
