ST. JOHN BOSCO HIGH SCHOOL TRACK AND FIELD

Howard CDM completed this new state-of-the-art, multi-purpose track and field venue to accommodate St. John Bosco’s CIF championship sporting events. The project consisted of:

  • The removal of existing turf as well as site clearing
  • Installation of underground filtration/detention system
  • Precision laser grading
  • A synthetic football/soccer field featuring Astroturf 3D360 Decade which is known to deliver the most durable and consistent playing surface
  • An all-weather rubberized track consisting of 13mm Beynon BSS 300 over an asphalt base

Slot drainage along the inside perimeter of lane oneOther track and field enhancements include: two shotput throwing circles and pads, a discus ring, two long/triple jump pits with 23-feet-long sand-filled pits, pole vault pits, and an infield runway. The installation of a new scoreboard measuring 18 ft. by 23 ft. was among the new track and field features to show scores and statistics for all track and field, soccer, and football games.
